I will dominate 'serious boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to publicize next month's boxing match.
Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, consistently making substantial earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As both boxers engaged in the usual stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is really proceeding.
